Acrylic Folk Art

Caryn paints to create a piece of art that is as much about her emotional reaction to the subject as it is to reality.  Her goal is to capture the individuality, spirit, and dignity of the Vermont farm animal on canvas.  The feathers of a chicken, the wool of a sheep, and the floppy ears of a pig are some examples of the remarkable visual elements that she strives to enhance in order to capture the viewers attention and ultimately an emotional response.
