Marion is a member of the Common Threads Quilt Guild in Hyde Park, VT.

In her own words:

My quilts, pillows, throws, wall hangings, and table runners are all hand crafted by me in my studio in Hyde Park, VT. I use a variety of different fabrics including cotton batiks, silk, velvet and metallics. On some of the pieces I hand stamp (block print) images on the silks and cottons for a layered pattern effect. I also hand crush the velvet I use for some of the quilt bindings, pillow backs and piecing of some of the quilts. The quilt patterns I use are my variations of traditional patterns as well as my own original designs. All of my pieces are machine quilted (freehand) with a cotton batting. I travel to juried craft shows with my husband Matt Seasholtz who is an accomplished glass artist.
