| Martha started painting
traditional folk art scenes when she arrived in Vermont 25 years ago. Today
her work has grown to include not only original paintings of Vermont
villages and scenery, but house portraits, Rufus Porter style paintings and
murals, and vinegar graining. In addition, Martha produces limited edition
and open edition prints of her work, including giclee prints on paper and
canvas. She also has a line of greeting cards using her images. Martha teaches various classes at the Fletcher Farm School for the Arts and Crafts in Ludlow, Vermont and at her studio. In addition to the Weston Craft Show, Martha's work can be seen year round at the Artist's Guild in Manchester and seasonally at her gallery located on Reilly Road in Londonderry. Martha's gallery is open by chance or appointment. |
