| Timothy Waite has been
designing and building limited edition studio and custom furniture for ten
years. His work has evolved as his skills have grown and, Tim says,
"It's a never ending learning process with each new design presenting
opportunities to try something different." His design process is both thoughtful and thorough. Working closely with clients and galleries throughout North America Tim uses the finest hand-selected materials to create furniture that is custom tailored, a pleasure to live with and built to last generations. Most of Timothy's knowledge of his craft has come from hands-on experience. In 1992 he received his BA from the University of Vermont. Shortly after graduation he found himself drawn to the sights, sounds and smells of a Burlington-based furniture shop. He joined the organization and worked for four years as a custom designer and craftsman. Now in his own Burlington Studio the evolution of his unique style continues with exciting new designs and pieces. |
